I have been working in Banja Luka for 5 years and I have an extremely good salary, but it is precisely because of things like this that I am leaving. As long as Chetnik symbols and war narratives are openly glorified in this society, and this is normalized as “culture” or “tradition”, I do not see any coexistence. I don’t want my child to grow up in an environment where hatred is built on facades and called patriotism.
