Gentian Gjyli has been removed from his position as head of the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) after being placed under house arrest by the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO), facing charges from SPAK for “violating equality in tenders.”
He has been replaced by Ami Kozeli, who was previously Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.
Meanwhile, Viola Haxhiademi has been appointed as the new head of KESH (Albanian Power Corporation), succeeding Erald Elezi, who is also under house arrest with similar charges.
