  1. The Trump administration is not known for abiding by the terms of judicial rulings they don’t like.

  2. It’s ironic that he’s a pro-Palestine activist who runs a group that advocates censorship of American tech companies while saying the government is violating his first amendment and fifth amendment rights by wanting to deport him back to the UK.

  3. This entire debacle is confusing and contradictory.

So a British national, Left wing political strategist and CEO of an anti-disinformation group (ngo) is operating, lobbying and working in the U.S… why?

If he is committing a crime, arrest him. Can we not use peoples immigration status as leverage in these cases?

I do like how he used his 1st amendment right in his defense lol.

    Everyone here sucks.

Edit: can people stop replying and then automatically blocking me? What a b**** move. Does that mean I won? Lol

I thought the left was against organizations like AIPAC…?

Just makes Trump & MAGA look even more like the pro-Putin apparatchik snowflakes they are

  5. Doesn’t bode well for the World Cup if these kinds of visa restrictions become widespread, esp if the State Dept holds fast on the social media checks for visas.

As for the headline, it’s a pretty straightforward grammatical construction: subject verb object participial phrase.

I hope it’s very clear to all of these European nations that if they want the US to return to some semblance of previous rationality, they need to step up on the information defense front internationally.

That means countering online influences from Russia and China that target the US, because our current cyber infrastructure certainly won’t. Our primary infosec ally in Israel won’t, it’s not in their interest.

Within the US there’s likely little that legitimate international groups can do to help. There’s a very high likelihood that all the knowledge, tactics, and intelligence the US infrastructure has held about internal actors and activities has long since leaked to the USA’s own internal threat actors operating from within.

Internationally, though? I know we don’t deserve it right now, but geez, anything you could do about Russia, China, NK and elsewhere (Orban?) sure would be helpful right about now.

Don’t coordinate with the US, don’t ask permission, don’t announce it. Just do it.
