The “Culture Club at the Residence,” which takes place under the patronage of the spouse of the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to the UK, Mrs Vasiliki Kinani Kourou, proudly announces the successful completion of its 2025 cultural programme, a dynamic series of nine events designed to showcase and promote Cypriot creativity, talent and cultural influence within the United Kingdom.
Throughout the year, the Culture Club continued its mission to highlight the artistic spirit of Cypriots and their lasting contributions to the arts. From visual arts and literature to music, performance and craft, the 2025 programme provided a platform for emerging and established Cypriot creators to engage with UK audiences, strengthen cultural exchange and deepen appreciation for Cyprus’ rich heritage.
The season concluded with two highly anticipated flagship events:
• A spectacular Fashion Show by internationally renowned Cypriot designer Aphrodite Hera, whose innovative work blends tradition and contemporary design, embodying the elegance and creative energy of modern Cyprus.
• A tribute party honouring George Michael, celebrating the life and legacy of the iconic artist of Cypriot heritage, whose global impact continues to inspire generations.
These closing events underscored the Culture Club’s commitment not only to celebrating Cypriot identity, but also to honouring the artistic contributions of Cypriots who have shaped global culture.
The Culture Club at the Residence remains dedicated to promoting the creative voices of Cypriots and strengthening cultural bridges between Cyprus and the United Kingdom.
Plans are already underway for the 2026 programme, which promises to continue this momentum with new collaborations, performances, exhibitions and community-focused events.
