ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – A party happening right here in Cenla that will help you achieve your goals for 2026.
Care Health+Fitness in Alexandria is hosting a vision board party to ring in the new year with all of its customers, family and friends.
“We come together and help you with your vision,” said co-owner Ceciley Hickman. “The thoughts you may have in your head, we want you to put it on paper so you can run with it for the year 2026. It’s fun, and then when you get together with the community, it may be things you probably thought about or didn’t think about. You may want to add it, and then we also are going to use that time for you to meet Coach Claire and I, so it’s going to be a little open house event too, and we may feed you, so come.”
This is a tradition that the coaches at Care started last year to help anyone and everyone achieve goals for the new year.
Everyone is welcome to come to this vision board party.
There will be stickers and magazines to create your vision boards with, or if you aren’t that crafty, you can write some goals out to put on your board.
“What you do is you bring your poster board. That’s all we need you guys to do is bring your poster board,” said co-owner Claire Burkhardt. “We’ll have stickers, we’ll have magazines, and you can do it a couple of different ways. Last year, I did it by just putting stickers and things that were inspirational to me. Something about my dogs, and I wanted to try cooking a little more, and family and friends. All of that stuff and just anything to uplift and support and to maybe think I already had some of these things, and I want to continue to have them going into the future.”
This Vision Board Party is Saturday, December 27, at 11 a.m.
