The property of the former Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Nenad Nesic, has been finally seized in Montenegro.

The Special State Prosecutor’s Office announced that the panel of the High Court in Podgorica, by decision Kvs no. 397/25 of 16 December this year, rejected as unfounded the appeal filed in favour of the defendant Nesic, for the extended criminal offence of money laundering, as well as the appeals of his wife and brother, M. N. and P. N.

According to reports, the appeal against the decision of the investigating judge of that court, dated March 17th this year, was rejected. By that decision, at the proposal of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, a temporary security measure was ordered in relation to their immovable property, because there is reasonable suspicion that it was acquired through criminal activity.

“This has resulted in a final ban on disposal by the defendant in relation to two luxury apartments in Tivat, with areas of 163.55 and 182.46 square metres, with two garage spaces; by his wife in relation to an apartment in Budva, with an area of 74 square metres, with a garage; and by his brother in relation to a construction plot with an area of 1.395 square metres, in the locality of Buljarica, with all prohibitions recorded in the real estate cadastre,“ the Prosecutor’s Office announced.
