  1. Delusional Don chasing the grift doesn’t give a shit about anything but himself. There, I fixed the headline for you.

It is not an economic boom they are chasing.

Fascism always struggles with finding enough loyalists to do the spying and carrying out the administration of the state that are competent and can be trusted.

The kind of people who are genuinely attracted to these ideologies don’t tend to be very competent, don’t play well with others, and are out for a grift. They attack well, but govern horribly because their understanding of how the world works stop at their ideological fundamentalism and willingness to question dear leader, who is often the biggest idiot in the bunch outside of a canny ability to manipulate.

And worse, there is a paranoid fear of betrayal from within the ranks because they understand the collection of jackals and loathsome opportunists they’ve put together.

The Third Reich had a horrible time with this.

AI helps them because you can replace a lot of the rank and file, ensure you don’t get a mutiny from opportunists, leverage the expertise of people you’ve long since disposed of, and run with a much smaller leadership team that you are able to constantly spy on.

  3. After much deliberation within the White House its own AI, ChatPDT (pedo don trump) has come to the conclusion that AI is fine. Just don’t worry about it. 😉 /s

They need AI to complete the total surveillance dystopia they’re creating.

We already live within the technological framework of a dystopian surveillance state, the only thing stopping them from implementing it right now is the prohibitive cost of manpower it would take to monitor everyone.

That’s were AI comes in as their solution to that problem.

This is why the Trump administration is trying to prohibit anyone from making ANY laws that would regulate AI.

Because they are building a huge AI data center nine stories deep under the East Wing. This will be the ultimate panopticon.

  6. A charitable explanation could be that the administration feels that AI is this generation’s Internet, and that keeping the internet unregulated will allow the US to lead that technology wave while competitors like Europe trip over themselves to regulate before they innovate.

An uncharitable theory is that Don got a lot of wink wink promises from tech Bros about getting some investment opportunities if he justs lets AI be.

Exactly what is supposed to produce an economic boom? The buildout? It will last about as long as he’s in office. Then what?

  8. The administration has downplayed concerns — **from mass job losses*, to a potential **financial bubble**— as President Trump cheers soaring stock prices and faster growth.

Did we learn nothing from the dot.com crash or the great recession?

  9. The White House doesn’t really care about a boom, or the lack of one.

Don Cheeto’s been massively bribed by the big tech companies and Silicon Valley financiers like Peter Thiel. It’s that simple.

He doesn’t care whether AI helps or hurts regular people, he got his payday.

  10. AI is being mandated in some schools (I know in Virginia at least). Why not? The kiddos don’t have a functional planet or democracy because of craven corporate greed, so why not exploit them some more for profits?

That is a very reckless dismissal of the penalty very serious and profound impacts of AI. It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest though. Trump and his MAGA Cult administration is in the pockets of the Tech Bro Billionaires…

Yup, absolutely nothing to worry about…https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/anthropics-ai-vending-machine-turns-communist-and-gives-everything-for-free-3296257/
