Next week, fuel prices will rise, ending the price drops that occurred in recent weeks and helped mitigate the impact of the change in fuel taxation.
Petrol is expected to be one cent more expensive starting Monday, and diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, half a cent more expensive, according to ACP data.
Next week, when you fill up your tank, you should expect to pay around €1.530 per litre of regular diesel and €1.661 per litre of regular 95 petrol, taking into account the average prices practiced at the pumps on Monday, released by the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG).
These increases end four consecutive weeks of decreases for diesel and five for gasoline, which resulted in an accumulated drop of 10.7 cents and 8.1 cents, respectively.
