  1. It’s by Seltmann Weiden, one of many German porcelain manufacturers. They still produce and sell today.

  2. I recently inherited an entire set of plates, bowls etc. from this exact series. My aunt had them in the late 70s already, so it seems to be at least ca. 45 to 50 years old.

  3. Must be produced post-war but before 90s since it says West-Germany. Very common for “Kaffee und Kuchen”, German Tradition of meeting with friends or family in the afternoon and eating cake together (mostly common under older Germans)

  4. German here: We have exactly this porcelain series (“Annabell”) at home. It is still sold over here – the manufacturer is Seltmann Weiden Bavaria.

“Seltmann-Weiden” ist eine der bekanntesten (und teuersten) Porzellanmanufakturen in Deutschland. Gratuliere! 😉✌️

  6. German here: I have the same entire set of this design. Got it from my god mother when I moved out of my parents. Still use it daily 👌🏼

It has been produced between 1949 and 1990 in Bavaria by the company “Seltmann Weiden”. It is the sugar box of the “Annabell” set. As far as I could see, it’s worth around 10€.

  8. Basically my whole family still works or worked in this company at some point (Grandparents, Mom, Dad, Husband)

We have a family habit to always check the stamp on the plates wherever we are, we get so excited when we find one in the wild, my sister and me send a picture to my dad 😀 farthest we found was during holiday in Hungary
