  1. This is world news? “Man stops shooter because he didn’t want any more shooting” back to you guys in the studio

What’s he supposed to say? “I was just hoping to ask the bloke what time it was.”

  3. Breaking news: Lifeguard saves drowning boy, says it was because ‘I didn’t want the boy to drown’.

I mean, all respect to him, but I’ve never understood the point of interviewing heroes like this. Firstly, it’s giving them a lot of attention that most of them probably don’t want, and secondly, they very rarely have anything to say beyond ‘I acted on instinct’ and ‘I wanted to help people’.

According to his parents interview, this fellow was part of the security service and later the police in Syria….under Bashar Al Assad.

  5. Didn’t he let him go and he killed more people? Should have held him down for police. But it’s easy to say that when the moments passed.

Surely there could have been a better headline than this? Like yeah obviously that is why he did it, you don’t exactly risk your own life to stop a terrorist for the fun of it.

What?? Did you want him to start a conversation on the oppression found in the Muslim religion??

  8. Real heroes are few and far between and really shouldn’t be subjected to the inane and moronic questions from the media scum in this country.

al Ahmed said he “didn’t worry about anything” except for the lives he could potentially save as he sought to disarm the shooter.

Way better headlines could have been created for the guy…..pure heart.
