DALLAS (AP) — B.J. Edwards had 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double of the season and SMU rolled past Cal State Fullerton 110-63, improving to 9-0 at home. Edwards, the only player in the country with two triple-doubles this season, had 24 points, 13 assists and 10 steals in a 100-69 victory over Arkansas State on Nov. 21. Freshman Jermaine O’Neal Jr. scored a season-high 21 points off the bench and four other Mustangs reached double digits in scoring. Boopie Miller had 14 points plus 12 assists and Samet Yigitoglu, a 7-foot-2 freshman from Turkey, added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Corey Washington scored 15 points and Jaron Pierre Jr. added 11. Joshua Ward scored 16 points and KJ Garris added 13 off the bench for the Titans.

BOSTON (AP) — Donald Hand Jr. matched his season high with 26 points, Fred Payne scored a career-high 22 and Boston College defeated Le Moyne 72-64. Hand made 8 of 19 shots with three 3-pointers for the Eagles (7-6), who improve to 6-2 at home. Payne made 8 of 17 shots, including 5 of 10 from 3-point range. Both players had seven rebounds. Shilo Jackson totaled 19 points and 15 rebounds to pace the Dolphins (5-8), who dropped to 2-6 on the road.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Harrison Waylee ran for a touchdown, Chandler Morris threw for 198 yards and No. 20 Virginia edged 25th-ranked Missouri 13-7 in the Gator Bowl on Saturday night. The Cavaliers bounced back from a crushing loss to Duke in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game — an overtime stunner that cost them a spot in the College Football Playoff — and reached 11 wins for the first time in the program’s 122 years. Missouri All-American Ahmad Hardy ran 15 times for 89 yards. He broke Missouri’s single-season school record set by Cody Schrader (1,627 yards) in 2023 but didn’t do enough to spark Missouri’s offense.

ORLANDO (AP) — Jovesa Damuni scored on a 4-yard run with two minutes remaining and No. 12 BYU rallied from an 11-point deficit in the second half for a 25-21 win over No. 24 Georgia Tech on Saturday in the Pop-Tarts Bowl. Damuni’s scoring run capped a nine-play, 70-yard drive by the Cougars (12-2), who were led by freshman quarterback Bear Bachmeier. Bachmeier passed for 57 yards in the drive. Bachmeier was 27 for 38 passing for 325 yards with a touchdown and an interception as the Cougars piled up 426 total yards. It was the freshman’s third 300-yard passing game of the season. Georgia Tech’s Haynes King was 23 for 41 passing for 254 yards, two touchdowns and the game-ending interception.

ORLANDO (AP) — BYU could have been disappointed it missed out on an invite to the College Football Playoff, and the Cougars could have let that disappointment carry over into their postseason. Instead, the No. 12 Cougars (12-2) rallied from an 11-point deficit in the second half and beat No. 24 Georgia Tech 25-21 on Saturday in a far less meaningful bowl game. BYU and Georgia Tech took their roles in the Pop-Tarts Bowl seriously, and it showed.

NEW YORK (AP) — Ethan Grunkemeyer threw for a career-high 262 yards and two TDs, including a 73-yard strike to Trebor Pena early in the fourth quarter, and Penn State beat Clemson 22-10 in the Pinstripe Bowl. In his seventh start since Penn State lost Drew Allar to an injury, Grunkemeyer completed 23 of 34 passes, setting career bests for completions and attempts. His best throw was to Pena, who caught the ball at the Penn State 44, ran by Clemson safety Ricardo Jones and rumbled untouched down the left side for a 15-3 lead with 12:51 left in the fourth.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Chaston Ditta threw two second-half touchdown passes, and East Carolina overcame an inadvertent whistle that negated a long touchdown in a 23-17 victory over Pittsburgh in the Military Bowl. Marlon Gunn Jr.’s touchdown was called back because of the whistle, and two plays later, Ditta fumbled on a sack by Pitt’s Rasheem Biles, who recovered the ball and returned it 23 yards to the end zone to give the Panthers a 14-10 lead. The Pirates rebounded quickly when Ditta threw a 72-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Smith, and ECU led the rest of the way.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — East Carolina’s Marlon Gunn Jr. had a long touchdown run called back because of an inadvertent whistle. And two snaps later, Pittsburgh forced a fumble and ran it back for a TD the other way in the Military Bowl. ECU led 10-7 and faced fourth-and-1 from its own 32 in the third quarter when Gunn shed a couple tacklers and went all the way to the end zone. But the play was negated because of the whistle. Two snaps later, Chaston Ditta fumbled on a sack by Pitt’s Rasheem Biles, who recovered the ball and returned it 23 yards to the end zone. ECU went on to win anyway, 23-17.
