I’ve given up trying to explain why gutting USAID also guts US soft-power to MAGA.

You can’t explain something to someone both in denial and stupid.

They’ll just pat themselves on the back fer being smert while China continues to gain influence.

  2. No shit. Everywhere that the US reduced international funding and aid China will take over. That’s soft power and yields better outcomes at lower cost than any war.

Trump and the Trump Administration are going to have difficulty reviving the Monroe Doctrine in Latin America. China has made a huge number of inroads in Latin America that the Trump Administration is going to have to reverse!

My maga coworkers are convinced this is a good thing and makes us strong. They told me today that exports and imports are bad. They also told me all the mills will open back open so we can just buy their products.

  5. So stupid to lose these trade/economic ties. China is fn taking the world right out from under us – this is for forever. Trump has destroyed the USA, his idiocy will be felt for generations.

Boy, those farmers just can’t stop winning with Trump. Keep voting Republican boys.🤣🤣🤣

Isreal, Saudi arabia, Russia etc etc are going to buy all US farms and bring their own people to work them. We all getting the rug pulled out from under us and left here to die. Thanks maga now eat sh!t like the rest of us.

  8. China has been doing this, same with their investments in Africa. They have clearly wanted to overthrow the US as the premier power in the world, and the United States has responded by whining that wokeism is ruining the world

  9. Just like how Chinese investment has turned North Korea and Africa into superpowers, they will do the same to latin America.

Just kidding, they are going to drain natural resources for China’s benefit, just like they are about to do to Russia.

  10. So much winning, yo! No markets for U.S. farmers! They got what they voted for that’s for sure! I hope they do realize that they can’t blame fucking Biden or Obama or anyone since literally those tariffs caused the whole thing. They should have realized that the first time it happened.

  11. China just simply gives a better deal to emerging economies than the United States.

What does the United States offer other than bombs?

Lol, at all the people who confidently claim that the US would prevail in a new cold war against China. In that scenario the USA is the Soviet Union.

It’s funny that Americans talk about it like supervillains complaining a rival villain is winning their game.

It’s quite simple, China wants stuff, some countries can provide it, but those countries might not have the capital to produce as much China wants, so China invests to get the stuff they want. Those countries are happy to sell their stuff to China and the invest. Simple as.

Meanwhile, America doesn’t want those stuff as much and sees those countries as populated by untermenschen, so it antagonises them, plus the whole isolationist drive. There really isn’t much South America has that America wants.

It’s not China sweeping American vassals under its nose. American has no god given right to boss around and act in superiority over other nations. Neither does China. China knows how to do business, it goes around offering business proposals, not calling people slurs and threatening to topple governments.

America is simply too unhinged, like a more openly racist Russia.

“Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia”

So China gets outsized economic influence in all of these countries and the US gets to hope that the $40B offered to Argentina somehow outweighs much of their agriculture being dependent on China?

“These and other recent investments across the region have positioned China to source more agricultural products from Latin America as it pivots away from U.S. farmers in response to President Trump’s higher tariffs.”

    So much winning

it’s not a “Potential sideline” if China is investing billions in Latin America. It’s reality.

Sad to say but the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So on this issue alone I will say, good for China. Screw Orangeturdistan.

  16. Is this why Trump is crying that the UK/EU dont want their swimming pool chicken? what a clown, thinks he can betray his allies, spread propaganda about them then ask for favours lol.

There’s a small town by the Decameron resort that has street signs in Chinese. Many of the locals are married to Chinese immigrants. I wouldn’t be surprised if a Chinatown springs up in Panama City in a few years since there’s already a monument to China in the outskirts of town.

Nobody is shocked by this except MAGAtards. Well, even they’re not shocked, because they’re going to still pretend they’re winning in their self-induced cultist delusions.

Belt and road. The Chinese have been doing this in various parts of the world for quite a while. It’s soft power increased by an order of magnitude, right as 🍊🐓🌮 drowns USAID and all the other soft power foreign aid the US used to provide in a bathtub. So. Much. Winning. 🙄

  20. The Chinese quietly secure markets to support their population while they watch gleefully as the U.S. implodes.
