The Aztec Empire was a powerful but fragile web of subject states, many of whom saw the Spanish arrival as a chance to rebel.

  2. The Aztecs were a Confederation of 3 larger tribes and many smaller ones. They weren’t just one large group or one large group with a bunch of vassals.

The spanish arrival was the worst thing to ever happen in the preservation of history

  4. If anyone has a good map reconstructing what the lay of the land was a century or a century and a half earlier, I’d be much obliged.

  5. So is it the red bit or the highlighted green bit….and what’s the difference between the two?

Would be nice to have any sort of clarification on the legend

  6. *Things look decently swell as far as Pre-Colombian Central America could go. I hope nothing bad happens to them in the future!*
