It did not happen, but will be used as an excuse to specifically target Zelensky and try to kill him with either more assassins or missile strikes. What should be obvious to people is that Russia has targeted Zelensky and political leadership many times. Russia will murder someone and it appears the norm, but when some other country such as Ukraine even gets remotely close they respond with “How dare you!”
