Above are a few examples of cultural destruction.
"In 1974 UNESCO stated that after 1923, out of 913 Armenian historical monuments left in Eastern Turkey, 464 have vanished completely, 252 are in ruins, and 197 are in need of repair. Armenian architectural buildings are consistently being demolished using dynaminte and are used as a targets during Turkish military training exercises; the undamaged stones are used as construction materials. In some rural places, Armenian monasteries and churches serve as a stables, stores, clubs and in once case, even a jail. On many occasions the Turkish government converted Armenian churches into mosques."

I am posting this as a response to Armenians who downplay the part that the current state of Turkey has played in the ongoing destruction of Armenians.
I often feel the Armenians who say "an apology is enough" don’t value what was lost and or inadvertently think it’s over or are unaware of continued efforts by Turkey to destroy our indiginous lands.
No. This is NOT a call for revenge. It’s a call to say an apology is worthless if Turkey does not protect what is left and starts to behave like honorable stewards of our land.
I am putting forth the argument that the genocide did not end because the goals of the genocide are still pursued including erasure.
I also put forward the argument that Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing is a continuation of the destruction of our people and shouldn’t be seen as a fully seperate event but rather a continuation.
Again, I am referring to the state of Turkey. I am not calling for violence of any kind towards any people. I am holding the state of Turkey accountable.

We must call out the corrupt actions of governments
Wow. Negative downvotes already! Says a lot
I absolutely agree but on the other side, the Turkish corrupt state rulers are also making cultural genocide for mosques and historical sites that aren’t religious.
You get nothing, cry about it
Denial is the final stage of genocide. By doing this, Turkey is trying to make it so that they can easily deny the genocide and show nonexistent Armenian cultural heritage (since they have destroyed it all) as “proof” of their denialist claims. They have been doing the same in occupied Cyprus for over 50 years, and I’m pretty sure in Karabakh too since 2020 (in this case not them specifically but helping Azerbaijan do it).
Their goal has always been, and still very much is, the destruction of Armenia in its entirety. My heart aches because I can not do anything against this. I just hope that our people can come to their senses sometime soon and we can live as actual neighbors. (I know this is too idealistic but hoping is all I can do.)
As far as I know, the first two are right next to eachother and on the border with Armenia. When you go onn google earth, you will see village ruins with a church in the middle simply labeled cathedral too.
That churches were destroyed before ww1.
Even they were abonded before 1878 russian ottoman war or first armenian revolts
As a foreigner who enioyes abd appreciates Armenian architecture and ancient history it is hart breaking, I do not expect much from turks as they came as invaders and even today take pride in being invaders, they never adopted Anatolia and will probably never in the future.
But it is shameful that Armenians were left alone to fend for themselves by allies when they needed their help the most, I hope that Armenians will regain their ancient land and restore their glorious heritage like how Europe did after WW2.
How is them not being looked after constitute it as a “genocide”? It just looks like they fell to the test of time. Yeah, I would rather see them renovated, but this is the case for many old ruins in Turkey. You guys certainly don’t do a great job at preserving historical sites yourselves.
