The whereabouts of an Azerbaijani citizen wanted on an international search have been identified in Bosnia and Herzegovina, APA reports.
Nijat Namiq oglu Rahimov, who was wanted by the Binagadi District Police Department in connection with a criminal case launched on fraud charges, was detained through Interpol channels.
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said its National Central Bureau of Interpol is taking measures, together with relevant authorities, to bring the accused back to the country.
The information was confirmed by the press service of the Interior Ministry.
