Let’s have fun tonight, instead of getting hurt!
- Fireworks can be fired starting at 6PM and ending at 2AM, police might fine and confiscate the fireworks if not following these timeline
- Safety glasses are mandatory for the users, but also highly recommended for everyone even the bystanders
- Please don’t leave the trash
- It’s estimated that 17 people will experience eye injury due to fireworks in Finland tonight, half of them just bystanders!

Please also don’t shoot close to retirement homes, hospitals, and houses you explicitly know have babies or small children.
IMO, the public at large should not be allowed to buy fireworks. They’re dangerous, they distress animals, some people and they add nothing useful for this distress. Want to see fireworks? Go to an organised display.
You’re thinking of the word ‘etiquette’ not ‘hygiene’.
Um… wiping the rockets with hand sanitiser? Sorry, the topic is serious but “hygiene” is not the right word.
Send all your rocket money to Ukraine instead.
