If I couldn't define or differentiate it, it went in the list
Now I just need to learn them…
[EDIT: some are more common, but I was conservative with my additions and so if I didn't feel 100% confident that I could absolutely define it then it was included]

Kept the list in the good old trustee Keep Notes on android from the start of 2025 until the very end (technically there’s a few hours left – hopefully I don’t need to amend the list lol)
I’m always surprised with how many words I can’t actually define, yet I am confident I can use them in the correct context.
I’m anaspeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericombobulation.
Is English not your native language? as there’s some words on there I’m surprised you didn’t know if that was the case.
A lot of these I have no idea what they mean
This is an interesting list quite a few I didn’t know but a lot I did. I’m surprised at some though, bespoke, reprieve, words like that seems awfully generic I’m surprised they made the list.
In before everyone ‘smarter’ than you calls out the words you didn’t know. Shut up.
For me I just have to open ”1984” by Orwell. There’s an average of 2 words per sentence that I have no idea what they mean. Like ”nipper” for ”child”, for example.
I offer the OP my most enthusiastic contrafibularities.
Interesting, but not really a data graphic. Maybe you could plot their positions in a [corpus word frequency distribution](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Word_list)- it would be interesting to figure out which of these are the most and least common words in English
Your last post said you were a teacher. I am pretty sure you should know many of these words…
Temerity is in there twice. Which is a very bold move.
i know atleast 10 words out of this list, the only good thing for me today.
also, i think you mentioned obtrusive twice
I applaud your will to learn.
