Allied and NATO experts met in Oslo, Norway, on 13-14 November for the annual NATO Hybrid Symposium to address the evolving hybrid threat landscape, and to enhance cooperation on countering hybrid threats. The two-day event focused on national approaches to protecting critical infrastructure and lessons learned from recent malign hybrid activities. Allies also worked together on further advancing implementation of NATO’s Revised Counter Hybrid Strategy.

In his opening remarks, Jean Charles Ellermann-Kingombe, NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Cyber and Digital Transformation and Special Coordinator for Countering Hybrid Threats, underlined the dynamic nature of the threat landscape, and the need for agile and timely responses at both national and NATO levels to protect our societies and critical infrastructure.
