That Motorola looks like my 1st phone, 1998.
I couldn’t find a way to input the contract phone number into an SMS so you had to remember the phone number to send an SMS.
This and my old Nokia 8310 (one of my favourites, a proper mobile phone).

The Nokia esp is a classic. They were indestructible. From memory they were 2G. I used to do work for mobile teleco’s & lots of the staff used them, as back then the new(ish) 3G network could get over-congested at times, whereas the 2G network had little traffic. The 2G network was available for quite a while after the telco’s had stopped selling 2G phones.

Loved the 3210. My first phone and I remember buying it, there were some for £69, £79 but that was premium at £99. I went for it and never regretted it, it was so much nicer than the others. I still lovingly look down into my junk drawer at it sometimes. The new magic of text messaging! Beepbeepbeep beep-beep beepbeepbeep!

Had both Nokias. Remember being blown away that a phone had a 2 megapixel camera. Made unrecognisable shadows that bit clearer.
