Boat Bike Tours is offering a unique tour of Egypt for the new year.
With special permission from the government, guests will explore the country on e-bikes, traveling on quieter roads through the Nile’s fertile farmlands, small villages and immense monuments, including the Great Pyramids outside Cairo.
Off their bikes, they’ll enjoy the comforts of deluxe hotels and an all-suite ship during the 13-day trip, which starts at $6,215 per person based on double occupancy.
Licensed Egyptologists, guides, support vans and local escorts will accompany travelers.Visas, transfers and an internal flight from Luxor to Cairo are included, as are deluxe hotels in El Gouna and in New Cairo’s Mirage City. The cruise will be offered on the H/S Nebu.
The first two departures will take place February 5 and February 19, 2026.
“Our new Egypt & The Nile tour is the most innovative itinerary we’ve ever offered – there’s never been anything like it,” says Laurens Winkel, chief executive officer of Boat Bike Tours. “Riding on quieter roads, we’ll see the country up close and at the perfect pace to take in its centuries of history, contrasting landscapes and daily life, showing that bike travel is possible there. Be among the first to join us for a truly unforgettable adventure.”
