Echo Elderly Care, a Romanian platform designed to develop a national network of high-quality elderly care services in Romania, has raised funding from Morphosis Capital Fund II. The funding will support the launch and scaling of Echo Elderly Care, including initial integrations and national expansion in Romania.

Investment details 

Morphosis Capital Fund II made a fourth investment, supported by Romania Recovery Equity Fund and InvestEU Fund, through the launch of Echo Elderly Care.

  • Morphosis Capital is a private equity firm investing in Romanian and CEE SMEs with strong growth and expansion potential, focusing on sectors such as healthcare, B2B services, consumer products, retail, and niche manufacturing.

  • Morphosis Capital Fund II, recently closed at €130 million, targets majority or co-control investments of €10–15 million in SMEs with €1–5 million EBITDA across Romania and selected CEE markets. 

The funding will be used to launch and scale the Echo Elderly Care platform in Romania, including the integration of the first two centers (the AsertivO Elderly Center in Otopeni and Maria Theresia Seniorenresidenz in Sibiu), further acquisitions and greenfield projects, standardization of operations and medical protocols, and the development of a national network of elderly care facilities.
