American rock powerhouse Daughtry, fronted by singer-songwriter Chris Daughtry, will perform an acoustic concert benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at the Morongo Grand Ballroom on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Since first capturing national attention as a finalist on “American Idol,” Chris Daughtry has led his namesake band to global success with a sound that fuses arena-ready rock anthems and emotionally charged vocals. Their self-titled debut album-the fastest-selling debut rock album ever-soared to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2006, earning multiple platinum certifications and producing enduring hits such as “It’s Not Over,” “Home” and “Over You.”
Nearly two decades later, Daughtry continues to evolve while staying true to the anthemic rock sound that defined their rise. In 2025, the band announced, “Shock to the System (Part Two),” highlighted by the single “The Bottom,” extending a creative streak that has delivered back-to-back hits. Their latest release, “The Day I Die,” showcases Chris Daughtry’s unmistakable voice over a soaring, hard-driving arrangement that underscores the band’s musical growth.
