All of Iran’s problems come from sanctions the USA and Israel have placed on them. Remove those sanctions and overnight Iran becomes a country richer than Saudi Arabia. There is nothing else you need to know if you are an outside observer. The requirement to wear hijab for women has been gone for over three years now.

There is high poverty in all demographic areas, once again it’s because of sanctions. It’s a money problem. Bahais are persecuted because they work hand in hand with Israel. Their holiest site is in Israel and they literally make pilgrimage there. Bahais love Israel, they post pictures with IDF soldiers on their vacays to Israel. Deaths of tens of thousands is a lie , if not post a source on that ( you can’t because you made it up).

The western secular {liberal} public (which has greatest media influence), wouldn’t give a damn about economy in Iran, because the concern of economic shortcomings is not limited to middle east, every country has its own eco issue to deal with.
