WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Are you frustrated with how long it can take to get a doctor’s appointment? One Vermont-based company is pitching a quick fix to this region’s long-lasting problem.
Vermont Health Care Consulting’s Jennifer Mayhew says her team can help you open up a private medical, dental, physical therapy, or behavior health practice in just 90 days.
Mayhew says it usually takes 12 to 18 months to open up a private practice, but her team says they can get it done in just 3.
The method was tried, tested, and successful in the state of Georgia.
While the firm has clients across the country, Mayhew wants to help her husband’s home state.
“Taking away the barriers to opening private practice allows us to open more clinics, meaning that the doctors could see more people at the pace that they would like and that would help with access for those on wait lists because there’d be more facilities open and they’d be able to better access care,” said Mayhew.
Mayhew helps health care providers with the business side of opening a practice, so providers can focus on care.
The 90-day program is called ‘Practice Launch 90.’ Mayhew says she’s accepting clients now.
