That is a good thing
I’ve been in the US for decades. I feel very comfortable here. But it still feels like a home away from home.
I’m not complaining. I’d imagine it has more to do with the fact that I’m an immigrant.
I’m sure 2nd gen immigrants born in Korea will feel different.
i’d imagine most immigrants in most countries feel this way. countries like US ***used*** to be one of the exceptions where they can realistically build long term life there but *even then*, a lot of first-gen feel as if they aren’t *truly* home.
