A system that fuels a nation – LNG

From global gas fields to Indian kitchens, factories and CNG stations, LNG flows through liquefaction, cryogenic shipping, regasification, pipelines and policy.

This is a personal curiosity project where I tried to map the entire R-LNG value chain of India in one visual — covering imports, terminals, CGD, and industrial offtake.

Please let me know your thoughts on this, and open to suggestions.

I really like this chart! I think the representation is clear and mostly professional. Two things I don‘t like here: the font of „cryogenic vessels“, looks like comis sans? Just stick to two fonts maybe, I wouldn‘t use this one. Second: the tolling, upstream, merchant model. Text needs to be centered in the circle, or any other form of representation, a little off-throwing imo. Good job overall!

  2. Fascinating, I wasn’t aware that Dabhol was producing gas. It was a big part of the Enron scandal. They effectively tried to sell LNG generated power for 20 times more than local prices.
