The wait is finally over, as ERT has officially revealed the 28 artists and their competing songs for Sing for Greece 2026, Greece’s national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Alongside the announcement of the contestants, short audio snippets of each entry were also unveiled, giving fans a first taste of the songs that will battle it out for the Greek ticket to Vienna.

Sing for Greece 2026: The road to the final

The 28 finalists were selected following an extensive listening process that reviewed all submitted entries. The selection was carried out by a seven-member jury, consisting of two ERT representatives and five professionals from the music and entertainment industry.

The chosen songs and their performers were presented during the special broadcast “Sing for Greece 2026 – The Road to the Final”, hosted by Betty Maggira, alongside Kelly Vranaki and Thanos Papachamos.

Immediately after the presentation of the 28 entries, last year’s Greek representative, Klavdia, conducted the live draw that determined the allocation of the contestants into the two semi-finals.

The two semi-finals

The allocation of the 28 contestants across the two semi-finals was determined by the live draw conducted by Klavdia, as mentioned above.

How Sing for Greece 2026 works

A total of 28 contestants will compete for the ticket to Eurovision 2026 in Vienna:

  • 14 artists will compete in each semi-final

  • 7 entries from each semi-final will qualify for the Grand Final

  • In the semi-finals, the results are decided exclusively by the public vote

In the Grand Final, the result will be determined by:

In the event of a tie, the public vote will prevail.

Dates and venue

Sing for Greece 2026 is expected to take place on 3, 5 and 7 February, at the Christmas Theater in Athens.
