He never had any intention or care about it. Inflation is part of project 2025s plan.

Good luck, USA. I wish you had elected someone that didn’t discard people like old toys.

  3. He says inflation’s gone and prices are crashing… but food, electricity, and everyday costs are still up. All talk, no real answers

  4. People in his circles profited Trillions this past year – of course he denies affordability issue because those outside the 1% are not people to him. They are not humans. There is no humanity in him and he has no conscience. If he had one it would have strangled him in his sleep before now.

  5. Poverty is not something he has ever or will ever face. Empathy is something he has never shown. He honestly does not give a damn.

Trump has been rich his whole life. He doesn’t understand what affordability means. If he wanted something he just took it. And like all conservatives, Trump believes that any given problem isn’t really a problem until it affects him personally.

So get used to stagflation, shrinkflation, and every other way Wall Street billionaires are planning to drain this country dry.  Nothing is changing for the better on affordability with captain dipshit in charge.

Trump must be impeached and removed from office ASAP.

Like Venezuela, America needs a regime change too.

  8. Thought the headline was literal for a second there. Never clicked on anything so fast in my life. Alas, hope springs eternal

With the takeover of Venezuela, I suspect he finally found something interesting to do as president. He’s going to continue taking over countries for the duration of his presidency. Speculation is Colombia is next.

Any domestic policy or even thought about the average American will not be part of his next 3 years. That’s my bet.

  10. This sounds about right. He and his cult are looking for action! explosions! rambo!

It’s one reason why he’s constantly releasing (un)classified videos of all the drug boat attacks, oil tankers being pirated, and the Venezuela attack/ Maduro being kidnapped.

    Simple minds are easily distracted.

It’s because we buy too many lattes. Too many pencils. Too many dolls. Have too many three meal days.

Trump is bored by the affordability crisis because it does not affect him personally and, because he is a sociopath, he is incapable of feeling the pain other people are in.

  13. This is one of the reasons we shouldn’t elect rich people. Has Donald Trump ever even set foot in a grocery store? Has he ever had to buy himself a new refrigerator on a budget? Has he pumped his own gas ever?

He is both a narcissist and a rich asshole that can’t comprehend the average person.

He doesn’t know, have a plan, or give a shit to fix the affordability crisis….

…. So look over here! Look at this other stuff! I occupied a sovereign nation to lower gas prices!

  15. HE DOES NOT CARE!!! When will people realize this. We just reach 40 trillion in debt, HE DOES NOT CARE! The world looks on in horror while Putin is grinning from ear to ear.

Fuck the new republic, taking a shot at Biden because the general populace is too stupid to understand we reduced inflation faster than any western nation under him. Biden dealt with the last disastrous Trump economy and here we are for round two.

These asshole media rags both-sidesing everything and downplaying Trumps insanity/evil are why we’re in this mess in the first place

  17. Politics traditionally was a boring subject because the main day-to-day issues to solve included affordability. Politics is supposed to be boring because the system should be working nonstop to prevent crisis!

  18. sugarlessdeathbear on

But *he* can afford everything he wants, so what is everyone complaining about?
