A minor earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale was recorded shortly after midnight, according to data from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The earthquake struck at 1:18 a.m., with the epicentre located in Montenegro, at a depth of approximately nine kilometres. The epicentre was situated around 65 kilometres west-northwest of Podgorica and about 28 kilometres west-southwest of Nikšić.

Although the earthquake was relatively weak, ground tremors were felt across a wider area, including parts of eastern Herzegovina and southern Dalmatia. No damage or injuries have been reported.
