There are several piles like this all throughout Kornos and other villages in the off-road areas… Are there any cleanup organizations I can send this to (and participate in the cleanup)? I hesitate to ask anything about gvt organizations cus they probably don’t care.

I have locations like this around my village too and I’ve been trying to organise a few friends to go and clean up. I have GPS coordinates for a few of these illegal dumps. I’m down to go out and clean up our home.

Be Batman. Don’t rely on the government. Get a €40 hunters motion-activated camera with SD card off of Ali Express, record the illegal dumping in action (with their car registration numbers) and send to the police and the village mukhtar. If neither do anything, post publicly on FB to shame the authorities into taking action.

When my van gets here I’m going round cleaning up once a week. Beautiful country undone in places by pieces of shit that do this
Nothing beautiful about Kornos. Even the road to the village has been destroyed by the caterpillar tracks of the tanks
