Fascinating guy and lived a very full life, bouncing back having experienced some of the roughest times in modern history. RIP and condolences to his family and friends. Hopefully someone writes his life story – he’d a really remarkable 107 years!

80s. There was a Galway Radio congratulations song played for an east Galway lady who was “111”.
DJ came on after to apologize as he read postcard incorrectly.
She was “ill”.
