  1. I am sorry, but given how Microsoft has ignored end user experience and instead began focusing on end user data collection they have been called Microslop for years now. Just media has finally caught up to it.

Given Microsoft also now forces ads down our throat on computers we own, it is a bit much to say the end user doesn’t get it (as one of the executives had implied recently).

  2. Reminder that the current Microsoft CEO use to be the head of the Metaverse.

And we know how well that went.

Man I hope MicroSlop sticks, companies get real obsessive about how brands are perceived and this one for sure irks many in leadership.

Super disappointed in Satya. He seemed like such a breath of fresh air after the Balmer era. Should try to make “Slopya” a thing

  5. Oh microslop, why can’t you leave well enough alone such as notepad.exe and the abomination replacement in windows 11

I’m still salty with them for turning SwiftKey to shit after a couple of “AI Integration” treatments

  7. Nadella learns the hard way what too many CEOs have forgotten. It’s better to shut the fuck up. Silence is golden.

Nonetheless glad to see Microslop paying a price for this copilot obsession.

“You will enjoy this thing we spent billions on!!!” – every company that went all in on AI

  9. Microsoft is one of the most important companies of all time.

Yet, it feels like the last 10 years, especially the last 5. They have continued to make every decision that is exactly the opposite of what consumers want.

  10. I used copilot once and it really helped me out! It showed me the fastest way to disable and uninstall CoPilot. 10/10.

  11. Microsoft HQ is local to me. I run into many Microsoft engineers and before they ever tell me they work at Microsoft, I can tell they’re from Microsoft because of their AI bootlicking obsession.

I understand that people hate Microsoft for all sorts of reasons, but there was a time when Microsoft made products that empowered people. **Microsoft has lost their way.**

People that work there are more worried about losing their jobs than actually making good products and services.

  12. My dad was asking me over the holiday where all his office icons went. I then realized that they all now live online inside copilot 365. What an absolute dumpster fire user experience. Almost couldn’t believe how difficult it was to get a simple word document going.
