www.portapaki.si – my new application for monitoring prices in Slovenian online stores

We ended 2025 with some great announcements, where we got a couple of new useful applications, and let’s start 2026 with another one of mine – maybe someone will find it useful.

A bit like camelcamelcamel.com & keepa.com (for Amazon) is available www.portapaki.si for monitoring the prices of products in Slovenian online stores + notification when the product drops to the target price (if you set it, of course). You can also just look at the price history to see if it’s worth it or not before buying.

Since the app is still very fresh, there is currently little (or no) price history for many products, but it will accumulate over time.

What Portapaki enables:

• adding products via www.portapaki.si (paste the URL of the product from one of the supported stores) or even easier via Chrome extensions (you add the product directly on the store page, without copying the link)
• current price overview + price history
• labels (tags) for organization (e.g. “technique”, “gifts”, “for the home”)
• baskets/lists for monitoring several products together (e.g. weekly “shopping list” – if only toothpaste is cheaper, this is not a reason to visit the store :), but if the price of the whole basket falls below the target price, it is possible)
• e-mail notification when the product/cart price falls below the set target price

Currently supported online stores: Spar, Mercator, Lidl, Mimovrste, BigBang, Merkur, Enaa, DM, Shoppster, Lekarnar, SvetUzitka, IKEA, Intersport, Decathlon, Bauhaus, OBI, Malinca

As there is still a bit of testing to go, registration is not yet generally open. Maybe I will release it in the future, it also depends on how much interest there is and what the costs will be with the maintenance of everything.
