r/hockey had some pretty good analysis. Canada was a bunch of good players but Czechia was a team.
Also our players were too cocky and had attitude issues starting from game 1, where the team captain slapped an opposing player on the butt during either warm ups, a break, or after the game (I forget), and didn’t shake hands with the opposing team after.

No shame in losing to that Czech team. They’re were the better team tonight. It’s their best team at this competition in a very long time. They’ve had our number the last 3 years. All 3 times, they’ve scored late to win it.
I’m glad we at least made it to the semis this year. Step in the right direction after 2 straight quarter final exits. Hopefully we can take the gold on home soil next year!

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills, why is no one criticising the coach? We’ve now lost to this same country three years in a row, after the first two losses you’d think we’d change the coach right? Nope, we bring back the same coach and guess what, we lose again. Hockey Canada and the boys club strikes again. It’s telling that after the broadcast nobody mentions the coaching decisions. It’s like the whole broadcast team is afraid of critiquing Hunter because of his power in junior hockey, he isn’t good at this job and it cost us. Am I the only one?

I understand terrible goalie interfence pentalties but the whining and crying and skating up to the bench to chirp should have been nipped.
