Oil has run the modern republican presidencies, but this time we’ve moved closer towards fascism and authoritarianism where the corporate bodies have lost control of their puppets and are being allowed to fund the projects, but will not maintain control. Trump will extract resources and extort at will because they created a monster with the logical outcome of their political philosophy where corporations matter and the people don’t.
