Hi, I was born in Poland, but my father left before I was born, and even my mother lost touch with him. Though recently my mother found his old business card (attached picture). This is the only information I have about him to try to find him. I don’t really speak Polish, so I don’t know where to start. This business card would be from the 70s.
If anyone could give some advice, it would be much appreciated.

The third column was his address of residence and includes a phone number (which doesn’t conform to current format, so us effectively useless).
You can try to reach out to Urząd Stanu Cywilnego for information regarding his current status. Given this was 50 years ago, I would say start by searching for a death certificate.

it says his work adress is Bracka 64 streat in Pabianice/Zamojska 9 in Łódź and his personal adress is Hipoteczna 24 streat, apartment 84 in Łódź.
Phone number is useless but this info is honestly very solid!

“Przedsiębiorstwo zagraniczne” – That form of business didn’t exist in Poland in the late 70’s. This card is probably from the late 80’s or early 90’s. This clue is probably of little use.
I found in the polish, national archives some information about a folder which was created to control foreign goods, one of the firms is your father’s firm and the folder is dated for 1991-1993, this business card can’t be from the 1970s. Another comment, the firm in which your father worked was “Przędsiębiorstwo Zagraniczne “Awwa” Olejniczak Waldemar” – it was founded in 1982 and it doesn’t exist anymore for sure. The owner of this business was Waldemar Olejniczak, whoever he was.

As his child you are allowed to check his birth/death certificate.
This is a 90s card, no way anyone had sth like this in the 70s. Also I bet in the 70s a local phone numer wouldn’t be 6 digits. Your mum sent you on a wild goose chase.
The Red Cross have a tracing missing relatives service, suggest you ask them for advice, maybe they can assist. in identifying the correct family and connecting you with Polish relations.

It won’t answer your question directly, but it may give you some more details about the name itself.
Your father held master degree (mgr = magister = MA), so he had higher education from some university. Higher education was more meaningful back then than it’s now. Maybe you know the date of his graduation? There are evens like alumni gathering both for people who graduated from universities and high schools in every 5 or 10 years. His classmates might know something.
