It’s the first full week of January, which means even more people than usual are probably thinking about how to hit their protein goals. Luckily, Goop Kitchen is here to help. To kick off the New Year, Gwyneth Paltrow’s seed-oil-free food-delivery service is teaming up with Andrew Huberman to launch a groundbreaking dish packed with everyone’s favorite macros: turkey chili.

Huberman — the Stanford University professor of neurology and ophthalmology turned longevity podcaster — has been one of the loudest voices convincing Americans they need to eat way more protein. While many nutrition experts dispute this, Paltrow has been “praying” for him to do a collaboration. So what’s in Huberman’s “brain-supporting spin on chili”? It appears to be organic turkey, kidney beans, and a blend of spices. Not the most innovative recipe, but apparently the magic is in the proportions. “The meat-to-bean ratio in chili is crucial,” Huberman reflects in the promo video — you want enough to add some fiber but not so much that it’s “overly starchy,” Paltrow explains. Huberman adds that in the winter, he likes to eat hot foods. If you’re not sold yet, he also told GQ that, in his opinion, “the turkey chili doesn’t taste like turkey. It tastes a bit more like beef to me.” He likes to garnish his with pickled onions to support his microbiome.

This nutrient-dense bowl of meat and beans can be yours for $16.95, assuming you live in Los Angeles or the Bay Area. But before you click “order,” it may be worth considering that Huberman once said on his podcast that he “doesn’t go anywhere near the food production” in his home “for everyone’s benefit.” Then again, that’s what New Year’s resolutions are for, right?
