And despite all the tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations, gas companies aren’t going to lower gas prices in any meaningful way.
Nor are we going to see real investment in reducing American dependency on gas.
As long as MAGA and oligarchs are calling the shots, we’re trapped by this manufacturered oil dependency.

The government uses taxpayer money to subsidize the oil companies, to keep prices artificially low. If we stopped doing that (which we should!), our gas prices would at least double. We are all paying for it, one way or another.
