I know TCs living in RoC, living in the UK, living in occupied areas, etc., who are married to foreign spouses.
And out of 10s of examples and people I asked, there isn’t any exceptional case in which a foreign TC spouse becomes a Cyprus citizen.

Do you know any examples of these?

P.S. I also know foreign spouses of GCs are waiting many years, especially when the spouses are non-EU citizens, but I know many foreign GC spouses who have become citizens of Cyprus.

Any foreign spouse to a Cypriot national (notwithstanding community) is eligible for citizenship provided they are not in violation of Cyprus’ immigration rules, as far as I know. Not sure if citizens of Turkey are a special case.

I know one guy (who lives in the North) who claims his Turkish wife got the ROC citizenship. He said it was a long fight with the ROC administration. But it’s not a recent case think this was longer ago.
