Good guys!
3 days ago I shared mine here Votometer for Presidential Elections from 2026 and, as expected, I received a lot of feedback. I tried to read as much as possible (including the harshest criticisms) and spent these days working on it.
Here are, as promised, the news of what is already live:
Total Transparency (Response Matrix): At the end of the questionnaire, they can now see exactly how each candidate positions themselves on each question. It’s not just the "position"I also added, when they click on them, the source and where I explain why "position"/"score" based on debates, electoral programs and official declarations.
- Use: I’m still filling in the sources for all the questions (which is a lot of work but it’s worth it 😅), but you already have a good basis for auditing the results.
No design: O "advance question" It’s automatic now and has a small delay so they can see what they clicked before the question popped up. I also changed the text of some questions to remove adjectives that could bias the answer (feedback I received in the previous post).
Open source: For those who are suspicious of the algorithm or want to see the code, I will open the github later this week. I’m just "clean the house" and organizing ReadMe so that anyone can easily contribute.
Thanks to those who took the time to test it, this is intended to be an independent political literacy tool.
