Because the Maduro military personal with the vice president sold him to the US as a deal to help Venezuela in long term and by the day this is clear as water, even US said so, more interesting enough, US abandoned all the allies it had in Venezuela including the opposition they armed and financed for a while.
More facts over this is that there were no US casualties but you can find videos of Venezuelans shooting the Cubans body guards and lots of air defense where off that day.

The radars were off due to a lack of maintenance and its not like Venezuela has much to use, like a couple S-300 and a few shoulder fired rockets vs the most sophisticated electronics warfare experts on the planet with a lot of radar masking capabilities?
Its an adult man vs an almost blind baby that was missing an eye, the Chinese made glasses are an inconsequential piece of that puzzle.
