The job you don’t want is to go door to door for people that haven’t returned their census surveys.
There’s a lot of absolute lunatics out there that are mortified that the government is trying to communicate with them and have no problem taking it out on the poor employee that is just knocking at their door.

They pay well for 1 month of work then you’re laid off again.

This sounds fake as fuck since they are cutting federal jobs.

$25.87 an hour isn’t a heck of a lot of money these days, unfortunately. It’s better than minimum wage but I wouldn’t classify in as being “paid pretty well.”

32,000 jobs needed for the census specifically? That’s an outrageously sky high, egregious number. Tell me its for more than that.

Is this another mandatory census? I just give them misinformation. I am a two spirited gender queer, my ethnicity is other: Antarctic.

>Paid pretty well
Maybe in 1990 $25.87 was “pretty well”, but now it’s barely a livable wage in about half of BC, and below a livable wage in the other half.

Anyone in the past who worked a full time office job tried working for statscan in the evenings/weekends?

Just curious if that’s possible
