My opinion, Trump is actually a few weeks/months away from nature taking it’s course and he’s trying to get something to keep him in the history books. Consequences be damned. Not that maybe a lot of this wasn’t the plan but I think the acceleration can be attributed to it.
It’s either that or the Epstein stuff is so bad he has to blow up the world order to distract from it.
It’s also possible they know from internal polling the midterms are going to be a bloodbath.

Personal opinion from a peace keeping perspective, the UN is possibly the most useless organisation I have ever worked with, people within the UN are more concerned about optics rather than actually keeping the peace.
Any country that is serious about cutting wasteful spending should leave and stop contributing…
