The whole headline (and situation) is ridiculous. Strawberry prices are surging but farmers are throwing them out because they don’t get a ‘fair’ price?

This is the dumbest “problem” I have ever heard of. This breaks the simplest principles of supply and demand. I read the whole article and I still don’t understand why letting inventory rot makes any sense.
