 There is no benefit to owning Greenland. The US already can operate there. The resources are too expensive to extract because there is no infrastructure near them. Maybe in 100 years when the glaciers have melted more…

Unfortunately I expect Trump to become more crazy as he ages, enters lame duck period, and also if the Dems regain the House and/or Senate. He will have nothing to lose and he has bullied the Republicans into submission. Even previous Republican opponents have fallen in line since they have Presidential aspirations or want to retain their privileges. The Democrats and judiciary are too weak to keep Trump in check.

The people working for and advocating on behalf of Trump should step back from the chaos and recognize that he has maybe 10 years left on this planet at most and that once he’s dead their protective MAGA armor will be heavily diminished.
They’re making enemies in every conceivable corner of the globe and at every level of society all while sporting a 40% approval rate amongst Americans themselves. Their own countrymen don’t even fucking like them.
Hitler died in 1945.
Former-Nazis (as if there is a thing) were still being actively hunted and jailed well into the 1990s.
