That could the reason why the Russian S300 never intercepted US jets and choppers. They probably switched it off before the operation.

The article makes one thing clear, the US has chosen to step away from attempting to remain the sole global hegemon. If Europe can not come together and create a unified military they will slowly be swallowed. France is right and has always been right, it now appears. I hope they succeed in convincing the rest of the continent to get on board, because if they don’t then may God help us all.

There’s an obvious pact between the two, and this just confirms it. I wonder how MAGA fanatics will react to this? I doubt it’ll make a difference with them.

Yeah? Probably – at least they tried – but Putin’s Rusia cannot offer anything. They are stuck in a war of attrition. A war that went from a 3 day’s special operation of denazification to a existential holly war.
By the way, Iran is part of the deal? It seems like Rusia’s friends are… somehow losing power lately. It’s all part of the plan, right?…

If this is true Trump got the better bargain. He has what he wants from Venezuela without much of a fight. Putin does not have Ukraine.

This was never about drugs or oil, these were Russian instructions. The “powerful” US is being blackmailed by a former KGB agent and nobody gives a fuck.

Putin still doesn’t have the manpower or ability to put Ukraine away . They hold (barely) 20 percent of Ukraine while losing on average close to a thousand soldiers a day. It’s a fucking meat grinder that has been going on for years at this point. Regardless of how much larger Russia is, do they really have the endurance left over to go on a crusade against the rest of Europe should (and god forbid) Ukraine fall?
Nukes and resources not withstanding, I don’t think Russia has enough gas in the tank to take on a united Europe after Ukraine IF Europe can come together as one.
That’s the problem though, they would need to come together but of the new world big three powers Russia seems to be in the weakest spot

Yes. I saw that floated, and it fits with Trump’s deals.

For so many many years she could have talked and say this, but noooooooo, just after USA did this. Pathetic.

Of course. It is more than obvious they are making deals to divide the world among themselves and they should all sit on a court bench for it

How many of these people are high giving Meta for ‘helping’ the UK out of the European Union? What a coup that was for Russia.

That was my theory. On the surface level Putin “lost” an ally but it doesn’t actually matter if Trump is his puppet.

This certainly sounds like some deal Trump would make.
Completely transactional and no appreciation for the big picture. Definitely not in The interest of the country long term.

This is just silly story. USA doesn’t need Russia permission to get Venezuela and Ukraine is not for USA to give.
