  1. Prepare for russian airstrikes on energy and heating infrastructure. They won’t miss the opportunity for more terrorism.

  2. I bet they are much better clothed than the Russians. A great deal of winter combat clothing and gear has been donated and purchased.

Don’t know what Ventusky is but BBC weather, Google weather and Met Office have Kyiv daytime temperatures for next week at between -5 and -11 and nighttime at around -11 and -13.

  4. Tunnels which are more than 3 meters below ground would-could theoretically keep the annual average temps if the entrance is properly insulated.

For anyone concerned about soldiers having appropriate winter gear, we are sending out hand warmers, warm gloves, thermal sets etc. The priority is for for the Latin Americans who just deployed in the Zaporizhia region; they have never seen snow and never been through winter before.

  6. I’m seeing as low as -25°C in Kyiv the night between the 15th and 16th.

We just had this cloud in Sweden this week, was definitely very cold.

I really hope the **Ukrainian** soldiers are well clothed and prepared for this.
