Not only the Epiphany. Some of the faithful in Poland celebrate Christmas Eve today

Thirteen days after Christmas Eve for Catholics, i.e. on January 6 in the Gregorian calendar (the Feast of the Epiphany), the rites of the faithful of the Orthodox Church begin. Tuesday’s celebrations are based on the Julian calendar (the so-called old style). During the Orthodox Christmas Eve, absolute fasting is obligatory – on this day one meal is eaten in the form of a supper.
