Upper Deck Expands Entertainment Portfolio with Landmark Harry Potter™ Licensing Agreement. Upper Deck, the global leader in sports and entertainment collectibles, today announced a premier licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to produce an extensive new line of Harry Potter collectibles. The collaboration brings together one of the world’s most influential storytelling universes with Upper Deck’s reputation for premium craftsmanship and innovation.
To mark the announcement, Upper Deck bypassed traditional channels, delivering the news to media and retailers via a unique experience inspired by the Wizarding World (Watch the video below). The deal positions Upper Deck to serve a massive, multi-generational fandom through high-end trading cards and memorabilia.
For over 25 years, the Harry Potter franchise has remained a cultural touchstone. By securing this license, Upper Deck aims to capture the timeless themes of the series through its signature flagship products.

Upper Deck will debut the license with two highly anticipated releases designed for both hardcore collectors and casual fans: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone 25th Anniversary Trading Cards: A cinematic tribute featuring Upper Deck’s “flagship” inserts, including UD Debuts, high-gloss parallels, and a rare Gold 1-of-1 Outburst parallel.
Fleer Ultra Harry Potter: A premium set showcasing original art and the iconic inserts that have made the Fleer Ultra brand a staple in the hobby for decades. Fans can expect to see the debut of legendary characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, and Severus Snape across these new collections.
The partnership arrives as the franchise prepares to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first film’s release.
